Revolution ahead – moving towards a new understanding of secure mobility and connectivity
The world around us is changing quickly — and so are our lives. We drive cars that automatically brake because the vehicle ahead of it has warned of an accident. We use smartphones for everything from counting calories to online banking. The face of our cities is changing through interconnected traffic control, intelligent transport systems and smart power grids. In short, technological innovations have become an intrinsic part of our daily lives.
As the world around us is getting smarter, important questions arise:
- “How can we trust the technology that we rely on every day?”
- “How can we defend our digital selves?”
- “What is needed to fully take advantage of technological innovations?”
With ME & MY SMARTER WORLD, NXP Semiconductors wants to explore possible answers. To continue the debate, we gathered thought leaders, industry insiders, and other inspiring people at CES 2016. We discussed these and other questions with Stacy Higginbotham of Fortune, as well as industry insiders from the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), General Motors, AAA, IDESG and NXP.
