It delivers up to two times the performance of ARM Cortex-M4 solutions, offering faster connectivity and powerful localized processing for fast-growing markets, opening the doors to more opportunities for our customers.
Among other areas, we’ll leverage the ARM Cortex-M7 processor’s exceptional performance and energy efficiency to enable new applications for power conversion, motor control and industrial automation – providing a migration path to higher performance from today’s mainstream Cortex-M4 applications. The performance, ease of use, and software reuse that Cortex-M ecosystem brings to an application space traditionally dominated by proprietary DSPs, will enable our customers to unleash their creative energies on bringing value to their customers, rather than porting and fine tuning their code over and over again.
