At NXP FTF 2016, the i.MX Innovation Area featured a variety of different interactive experiences like the ones described above and made them real. They are filmed in 360 degrees so you can enjoy an immersive experience with a headset/viewer or even straight from your phone or laptop by moving side-to-side and up-and-down.

Computer Assisted Billiards in Action
What it is
This showcase demonstrates the use of a common surface for human-machine interaction, experienced through computer-assisted billiards. You can ‘call your shot’, participate in augmented reality pool games and compete with friends.
How it works
The surface of the billiards table is transformed into a mathematical model of a matrix through the use of vision systems. Objects are detected and classified as they enter the matrix to determine desired actions and communication using light or sound. Motion of the objects are mapped as a disturbance to the matrix, similar to waves propagating from the impact of a pebble hitting water. The physical mapping is used to predict and show the outcome of the objects.
